Yo!

[adsense:120x240:1:1]
It was a long season, filled with injuries and other unexpected turns to boil the blood of fantasy owners. Here is a breakdown of the best and worst of the 2006-2007 NBA season.
Fantasy MVP: Kobe Bryant
Fantasy Most Improved Player: Kevin Martin
Fantasy Rookie of the Year: Brandon Roy
All NBA Fantasy First Team:
All NBA Fantasy Second Team:
2007 NBA Fantasy Awards - The NBA season is over, but it's time for our annual year-end awards. Our Sergio Gonzalez highlights the best -- and worst -- of the Fantasy season. [CBS SportsLine]
Fantapedia's Take: Keep in mind that this is from CBS SportsLine and not from us (ours will come out soon). It's extremely frustrating reading these awards when there's absolutely no disclaimer about what scoring system they're using. It makes a huge difference. Otherwise, I could give any name for virtually any award and no one could argue against it. The only name I think does not belong on the list they provided was Dwight Howard, third all-NBA Fantasy team. Dwight Howard scores a decent amount of points and boards a whole lot. His blocks were respectable this season, too. But his foul shooting is Shaq-like and his turnovers are atrocious. He's incredibly overrated in terms of fantasy basketball goes.
Be on the lookout for Fantapedia's NBA Fantasy Basketball season awards. We promise to at least try to offer some valid explanation to our picks, instead of leaving you in the dark.

Fantasy Spin: Once the season officially ends, we'll post Fantapedia's Fantasy Basketball Awards.
Most teams have about four to five games left in the season, so your chances of improving your fantasy basketball team are running out.
Things to Remember:
If you're in a rotisserie style league, don't forget to get all your games in (if there's a maximum amount of games you can use).
If you're in a head-to-head style league, remember to play the waiver wire like crazy as a lot of star players go on the injured list at this time of the season to either rest them for the playoffs, or to give younger players their chance as the standings are mostly locked in.
Kansas forward, Julian Wright, has officially declared for the NBA Draft.
Texas star, Kevin Durant, is expected to declare as early as Tuesday. Durant averaged 25.8 ppg and 11.1 rbpg in his freshman year and is expected to go either one or two in the draft this season.
The injuries this season are completely out of control. Pretty soon they'll be relying on replacement players. Gilbert Arenas is the latest for fall victim to injury. Here's an update on who's injured. The long-term/serious injuries are marked in red. Note the high volume of red. Astericks indicates the player has fantasy value.
We're at the tail end of the season, which means you have one final shot of making a push. If you're winning your NBA Fantasy Basketball league, you want to make sure you don't lose that lead. It's amazing how much a team can catch up in a few days. If you're close to winning your league, you want to give yourself the best chance of coming out on top. If you're nowhere near first place, you want to be as competitive as possible. First, it makes for a stronger, more fun league for everyone when all teams are competing til the end. Second, you should be more proud than to forfeit any and all chances you have to move up or hold your spot in the rankings. These finals days are crucial, so pay attention.
